I really wanted to do a blog post with some Fall foliage before the season ended and Winter set in.  Especially since this year we lucked out, as we experienced a cool summer which resulted in perfect conditions for leaves to develop into vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges.  I have always had this vision for a Fall fashion blog post to utilize colourful leaves as a backdrop and incorporate a wooden bar stool.  I know… it sounded crazy when I was explaining it out loud to my friend Samantha (www.samathapaigefotos.com) who helped take these photos, but it actually worked out perfectly!  We also stumbled upon a wooden log upon our travels and ended up utilizing that too in the photographs.  I didn’t want to take away from the amazing Fall background, so I kept my outfit simple yet cozy!  My outfit was inspired by ‘men’s wear’, as I paired a white button down shirt with some casual boyfriend jeans and cognac loafer heels.  I am secretly obsessed with men styled heels!  To contrast and feminize the men’s styled outfit I wore a dark brown fall hat and an over sized wool coloured maroon scarf.  A perfect comfortable yet chic outfit for a fall day!  :)
